Mia Thorton of Sumter, SC is a 19yr old female suffering from what so many of our young teenagers go through. Verbal abuse can drive even the maturest adult to lose control and react with rage, drug abuse, other substances and even worst. Mia who works at a local restaurant in SC walks around with this pain. People who she considered to be close friends, turning their back on her in her time of needing a shoulder to lean on. So many of our young teenage females problems start over a boy. 9 times out of ten it's a boy that she won't even be thinking about 5-10 years from now. Sad to say though this boy is her best friend who been there for her through tough times. Needless to say, the boy girlfriend doesn't like their relationship, (according to Mia) so she's been force to cut of their relationship as best friends. Rumors have been spread about her she said, trying to destroy her character.
So many times we think the answer to these problems is to result to violence to physically handle situations we can't mentally handle, but Mia is smart enough not to result to that. Mia is also being called a punk & scary because she refuses to engage in violent confrontations with these individuals. Us here at FAMM support you Mia and would hate to see this end in any sort of violence at all. Our teens are committing suicide because of situations like this so us at FAMM would like to tell you to keep your head up. Help us spread the word of verbal abuse and please leave a comment supporting Mia to help her get through her difficult time.
