BLOOMFIELD -- The third man wanted for attacking a man and stealing his $500 Nike sneakers at a Bloomfield Wendy's parking lot surrendered to police, authorities said Thursday.
Arioste Moncion, 23, of East Orange, was charged with robbery in the April 15 beating and robbery of a 41-year-old man at the Bloomfield Avenue fast food eatery, police said. Moncion turned himself in Monday after he was identified by investigators.
Witnesses told police the assailants punched and kicked the man on the ground, according to authorities. Township police rushed to reports of the robbery and arrested Ahmari Gilmore, 21, and Bobby Reed, 23, both of Newark, on robbery and conspiracy charges in the area.
Gilmore and Reed were found with one of the man's sneakers and hat, police said. A witness captured a photo of the third suspect running from the scene.
Police said the victim suffered cuts and bruises to his face.
